Affiliate Marketing Training – My NAMS

Chris Cobb at NAMS6Readers of My Bonus Blog know that I’m a raving fan of NAMS (Niche Affiliate Marketing System) and its founder David Perdew. I showed up at the very first NAMS workshop in Atlanta in January 2009 having recently retired from my 30-year career in the financial services industry. About a month ago I attended the 6th NAMS workshop and this time I went as an instructor. It’s been quite an exciting ride over the last three years!

I’ve Got Some Exciting News For You…

Drum roll, please…

The best affiliate marketing and online niche training anywhere has gone to the next level. David Perdew has introduced MyNAMS, a year-round virtual program anchored by 2 live conferences. His experiment with a virtual NAMS5 was very successful because marketers everywhere could participate. Those of us who have been to the live conferences were a bit disappointed that we were not meeting in person. Now we have the best of both worlds–answers at our fingertips and the twice yearly get-togethers.

Inside My NAMS

I could write a very long post explaining all the benefits of My NAMS (forum, accountability groups, weekly webinars and tons of video tutorials). Instead I made a video showing you what it looks like on the inside.

If you have 5 minutes, click the play button:

[trafficplayer_skin padding: 3px 0 0 3px; width: 583px; height: 329px; background: url( no-repeat top left; text-align: left;][trafficplayer_youtube_video width=”580″ height=”326″ src=”″ ][/trafficplayer_youtube_video][/trafficplayer_skin]

Now the best part…

My NAMS discountI bet you are thinking to yourself, “Wonder how much this is going to set me back?” I did too. In fact as he was explaining the whole program, I thought it would surely be 100 bucks a month and maybe he’ll offer a 50% discount in the beginning.

While I was close on the first number, to my complete amazement, he said the discounts would start at 90%!

That means for less than $10 a month you get all that plus the live conferences will be only $97 if you want to go (they are $497 to everyone else).

How do you get the discount?

Since I’m not sure what the date is as you are reading this, you will need to look for the discount code. I know until September 30, 2011 that the code is MYNAMS90. If you are reading this after that date, go to and scroll down to the Sign Me Up box and you will see the current discount code.

Sign Me Up To My NAMS

I’m excited to be one of the 30+ instructors at My NAMS and I look forward to seeing you there. No matter whether you are just starting out like I was a few years ago or where you are on your online journey, there is a track for you.

    Hello Chris,
I am a small businesswoman who sells business development by phone. I am writing an eBook about this and have also written several other eBooks. My issue is, I am completely overwhelmed by how to start to make any of this pay. I want to sell each of these online, but I do not have much more than $50 to spend to get any of it going. Moreover, I do not learn best with “theory” – I need to see where to point and click in a step by step fashion with each of the tools needed to make this happen. I wish there was a video somewhere, that shows in detail, exactly how to set-up a website, a squeeze page, a landing page, including opt-in email, how to cloak links and include those links in ad copy, etc, etc. – in short – a step by step video manual that covers every step and how to use every tool needed to launch an eBook, manage it, and profit from it. Soup to nuts. Is there such a product out there for beginners? And – a product that step by step shows how to manage and grow profits from it, once it is up and running? I’ve seen some things like this, but only covering one aspect of the process – not everything. Also, the information must be current, as in 2011. I see too much “old” info being re-packaged and sold and its useless.

      Hey PJ
Your frustrations are pretty common–sadly to say. There are lots of good tutorials out there for free but no good soup to nuts free programs that I’m aware of. I’m currently working on a video which will walk you through getting your website up and running which should be complete soon and will be available free of charge to my subscribers. There is however a course from Kevin Riley that I wish I had known about when I started that is what you describe except it is in written form instead of video. Although it is a bit more than your $50 budget, it’s worth a look. You can read about it at .

You can also check out the MyNAMS program which has over 1200 video tutorials and 30+ instructors where you can learn all the things you list plus a whole lot more. As I am writing this, the cost is $14.97 per month or $149.70 per year. You can check it out at

In terms of costs — your domain name will cost about $10 per year and website hosting will cost from $4 – $8 per month. You’ll need a word processing program to write your ebook and a program to convert it to a PDF, both of which you can get for free with Open Office. Then you’ll need a way to collect money. An account with PayPal is free to set up and then they take a fee from each sale. When you think about it, to start a business for less than $20 is unbelievable.

As for growing profits, that just takes working at it. I guess there are people who hit it big right out of the gate, but that’s not the norm. A lot depends on whether you have information that people really want and how much time you have to devote to creating a following and traffic to your website.

Hope this has been some help.

  • Hi Chris,

It’s amazing how much we’ve learned at NAMS and MYNAMS and how much our online businesses have grown in such a short time. Looking forward to what the future brings at the next Niche Affiliate Marketing System Workshop in Atlanta. See you there!
