What do you do if you need the latest cool web buttons but you don’t have Photoshop? Here’s a list of resources you can use to get just the right buttons and other web 2.0 graphics:
- My Cool Button is a website that uses online software to create a variety of buttons including social media, call to action, shopping cart and more. Everything is customizable and does not require you to install software on your computer. As of January 31, 2013, the subscription is $3.99 per year.
- Max Rylski’s Marketing Graphics Toolkit is an incredible package of web marketing graphics (not just buttons). Everything is less than $10. Many of them come with PSD files but most of them can be used as is or easily edited with free graphics editing software like Gimp.
- Icon Finder is a website where you can search for specific buttons or icons, many of which are free to download and use. This is a great site to get icon sets like social media icons.
